I just couldn't help it. I knew that RI starts their sale today and against all good friends’ advices and thinking/considering of all the pros (having no money being the biggest one) I went shopping.
What a mistake.
No, I didn't spend all the money that's (surprisingly) still left on my credit card.

What happened to me is one of the things that every girl must have been through and every single one knows how dreadful it is. I got stuck.

So I went on to try this cute silky top with little bows. It looked short but very wide. Not (obviously) thinking much I took one 2 sizes smaller than I normally do... how clever. I even got quite proud of myself for a sec when I got it on quite easily (thoughts of possible weight loss already making their way into my silly little head). Quick glance in a mirror and I knew it was way too small for me. So off I went lifting my arms and there you go. No freaking way. I went down and up again and again and I had the picture of an embarrassment for asking staff to help me out, tearing the top up anyway and paying for the damage already in my head. I don’t know how long I was fighting with that fecking top for but it felt like years!
After hundreds of deep breaths, I put all my effort into it and held my chest in as much as possible (I must have reduced down to A cup that sec!). That finally worked.

I ended up not buying anything which all in all is a good thing given my financial situation but hey, I surely got punished for giving in to temptations and going shopping….

Is it just me...

Or are they like the most expressive shoes ever...?

Nope, it can't be just me. They are. I could probably learn from them..

I am dreaming of....

A gorgeous sunny day when I would wake up in my bed…

That’s obviously not my bed but this is what it would look like on a day like that.

On a day like that I could run blind folded and look so damn hot.

On a day like that all the smells & sounds would be beautiful and everything right.

Right where it should be.

Lady Dragon

During one of my lovely walks down Grafton Str on a Sunday afternoon I somehow managed to drag my boy into BT2. I say drag as we didn’t go downstairs, just a quick pick at the ladies shoes section.

When I saw the first Lady Dragon I burst out laughing. But as it usually happens, after 3 more glances and a touch all I could think of was ‘I want it’!

One of the most unusual shoes I could probably go for (I’m a rather safe person when it comes to what’s on my feet) I still have them stuck in my mind and keep on coming across their pics all over the place (is it God sending me a msg?!).

All in all; not being quite back on my feet yet, I’ll just keep on staring at these weird beautiful Vivienne Westwood’s dragons… ah.

It's about time...

I finally scribble something. I know, it's been like... years.

I’ve been around a lot though. I totally fell for these (The Style Strutter & A Style Girl) 2 bloggers and read them fanatically so if there’s anyone who hasn’t seen them yet-keep it a secret and make sure you check them out…

My wardrobe has been getting a little & slow update (going back to work has definitely helped) with a lot of clearing out. But I haven’t forgotten that it’s about time I get my little tiny apartment an ‘already leaving here for a year’ present ;) So I bought this cupboard at the weekend (BTW Swords is not a bad place for shopping!) which I just totally fell for. Like, not in a long time falling for things fell for :) I think it fits into my (tiny) hall perfectly and the wooden bowl thing which I bought on the same day as well. And the candle, in case u’re wondering what it is, it’s not a piece of wood, it’s a candle.

I actually started to doubt my taste when my dad said it looks like it comes from a country but I still love it :)

I promise to talk about something a bit more fashion-related next time…
