I am so excited to blog about this outfit! Not that it's anything special, it's actually rather on a very not-special side of things. It is just SO me! It's one of those things that really work for me; most women would have their perfect LBD and I have this ensemble (at the moment, they change quite often..).

Where do I start...neon? Ok, so we all know that neon is big this season but how to make it work? I think it's easiest to keep it simple. A comfortable t-shirt in a neon color that generally works for you is a really easy way to work this trend. If you still feel like your upper body screams at people around you, throw something on, maybe a crochet vest? It will take away the attention a little bit.

Jeans. Nothing special, boyfriend style jeans, quite old actually BUT what I like about them is that they're rolled up. I gave up wearing these some time ago as I found them to be too manly and hard to pull off without looking like a sk8er girl. The rolled up jeans trend this season is a perfect solution for these. Take any jeans (as long as they're not wide legged), roll em up, throw on a pair of heels and sexy&casual here we go!

Bag. This bag was a present and I'll talk about it a little more soon, for the moment, all I'll say is that it fits everything I need inside. Which is rare and priceless.

Shoes. Ok so I didn't actually opt for heels but wedge just makes so much more sense in Dublin... These are comfy and thanks to the open-toe, they're actually spring appropriate!  

To sum up; it's a very casual outfit which feels right for me in every sense, hope you enjoy it too ;)

Boots with a chunky platform and heel became a bit of an obsession to me. I found it hard to make up my mind with all the choice around but I finally settled on a rather simple pair. 

I remember the excitement of getting the package from Asos - I couldn't wait to put them on and blog about them! 

I just found the photos below which were forgotten for weeks now... I also haven't worn the shoes out of the house yet. Does that mean I have too many shoes?!

Ok so it's obvious that wearing heels all the time can't be good for you. It's not so easy to translate it in real life though where you spend: most of your time at work (heels pretty much compulsory), some time going out (heels totally compulsory), a lot of time shopping (heels totally unnecessary but hey, they do look good so why not) and very little time exercising (not a 'heels scenario'? I thought so too, until I started burlesque..).

That pretty much sums up my last few weeks which have resulted in sore feet, sore ankles, pain in calves and so on...

I could think of only one solution and you can see it below. These shoes (or should I say runners) were definitely made for walking!

9-to-5 # Sunshine

Although it doesn't feel like spring just yet and I was really lucky to get the photos taken in such good light, in preparation for what I hope to be a great summer (looks like I'll spend all of it in Dublin so it better be;) I searched for a 9-to-5 outfit that  would be a bit more on the bright side. 

Skirts have been long forgotten in my everyday work wear so I decided to wear one for a bit of change. 

It's a very similar outfit to the 'crazy one' I recently created, it's toned down though and I think it's actually quite conservative; the pencil skirt and all. 

Any time I feel 'too fat' to wear a pencil skirt (a regular enough scenario) I pair it with a floaty blouse which I think makes up for the usual tucked in look that most women go for. Keep it a bit sheer and it should go down ok :)

Marni for H&M

Marni for H&M was the first designer & high street collaboration that I was REALLY excited about. I am a huge fan of their designs and patterns so a possibility of getting them at high street prices sounded too good to be true.

Unfortunately like most regular human beings I have a job (which actually happens to pay for the shopping) so I was unable to queue at H&M at 9 am. A thought of an 'appointment' flashed through my mind as an excuse at work but the shopping bags would probably give it away... they know me too well at this stage anyway.

So I managed to stay away all morning and headed at lunchtime (realistically) not hoping for much. As I expected, hardly anything was left at that stage so I flicked through few leftover pairs of pink pyjama shorts that obviously didn't do anyone any justice and was about to leave when I spotted it.

The last handbag, neatly hidden under the racks of clothes.

Maybe it was waiting for someone else's payday or maybe it was destiny, I don't really care; I am too happy to have it!!

I feel blue

Ok, so I don't really (in a mood sense of this statement).

I do however feel like adding some blue to my outfits. It has never been my color and I always thought it does nothing for my complexion so this feels a bit odd actually.

Wearing a blue blazer today I feel like I'm in a way cheating on my taste or color preferences. I've thought about it so and decided to slow down with the blue purchases. Then I saw this picture and I thought: that looks cool. What is wrong with me?! Even back in school when everyone thought blue lashes were cool I knew better, am I loosing it.....?

On the other hand this is Stella McCartney and I think she knows better. 
 

Jump - suit

I came across these outfit photos few days ago; I completely forgot about them after they were taken.

I was contemplating the purchase of this jumpsuit for a long time. I liked it on but my dear sis thought it was a bit too casual & baggy and my dear boy just didn't get the idea of pants and a top in one piece (an image of skiing gear from my childhood also crossed my mind).

The more negatives I heard though, the more I wanted it and I ended up buying it.

It's comfy, it's black, it's easy to wear and I think that paired with a pair of heels, some jewellery and a smile, it is actually an appropriate dinner outfit :) what do you think? 

PS gold kimono-wrap thing stayed at home, not too sure about it.
